Mark Parton is a Liberal Member for Brindabella in the ACT Legislative Assembly.

Prior to being elected to the Assembly, Mark worked in commercial radio for 30 years and ran his own marketing business. You might have listened to Mark during the breakfast timeslot on either Mix 106.3 or 2CC.

First elected to the Assembly in 2016, Mark has been a leading voice for the people of Tuggeranong who rightly feel neglected after two decades of Labor-Greens Government. As the Shadow Minister for Housing, Mark has helped countless Canberrans facing homelessness, ACT Housing tenants and those struggling to find a home to rent. Mark is passionate about his community and helping deliver better services to Tuggeranong.

Mark lives in South Tuggeranong with his wife and their two boisterous kelpies, Nic Nat and Gaffy. Outside of the Assembly, you can find Mark walking his dogs every day, doing the Tuggeranong Parkrun most Saturday mornings, cycling the streets of the Canberra or posting videos on his popular TikTok account.
